What does it feel like to do something you enjoy and be so successful at it that you have a magazine or show or people that you used to look up to want to interview you/ write a feature story on you? What does it feel like to have people care about what you say or think so much so that they read your blog, or follow you on twitter? I don’t mean being a world-renowned movie star or a musical multi-millionaire, but just being big enough that people in your field know who you are. To be able to quit your “day job” that you had to actually make money, because now you actually make money doing the thing you like.
It all seems very strange to me.
So, I found a new place. A better place. I put down a deposit tonight. Keep your fingers crossed!

I hate when I can’t sleep because my mind is racing at 1000 mph and all I can think of are all of the things I need to do between now and the day I die. I try listening to music, I try deep breathing, I try a hundred other methods of relaxation and nothing helps. The only thing that helps is either being completely dead tired exhausted or actually doing the majority of shit on my list. I just have so much on my plate for the next two weeks that I can’t concentrate on anything! I hate this feeling of having things spiraling out of control. I wish I could fast forward through times like these.
This is mostly why I can’t sleep ever. I CAN’T TURN MY MIND OFF! I totally know how you feel- listening to music, watching boring TV, reading books, counting to 87634543173, etc etc. Nothing works. Usually making a list of everything that comes into you mind helps. Sleeping pills also work for awhile before you get used to them. Also, alcohol.
I’m fairly certain I’m meant to marry one of these two men. Or both, that would be cool too.
